Hallowmas Vendor Profile – Miss Bessie, Dance Oracle (aka Viv Moore)

Ask a question – Miss Bessie will answer with a Dance Reading

I am an intuitive sensitive who has been dancing since I was 4. Through the decades I have taken many classes, workshops, and received BFA and MA.

I’m a choreographer, movement director, curator and actor (film and tv) and have taught as a dance and movement professor at Humber College and other institutions.

I create visual works including power wands, paintings and books. Miss Bessie has been my alter ego for about 10 years and through dance, she interprets people’s questions similar to a mystical reading.

Featured Hallowmas Vendor – Jordan Kuzyk Woodworking

Hi, I’m Jordan. I’m a Hamilton based woodworker with a passion for turning wood into art and helping nice people tap into their naughty side.

All of my paddles are hand made using domestic hardwood from a local supplier. I have paddles available in seven different sustainable species of wood. My work is finished with a food and body safe homemade mineral oil and beeswax blend using beeswax from a local apiary.

I look forward to seeing you all at the Toronto Dark Arts Market. Drop by my booth and give my paddles a try. I am also available for custom orders, so feel free to grab a card and chat.

Featured Hallowmas Vendor – Darkly Designed

Hi! I’m Debi from Darkly Designed. A self-taught seamstress using my skills in a variety of settings for over 30+ years. However the personal need to discover and learn new (and ancient) techniques is too overpowering to ignore. I’ve gained knowledge in many creative fields including prop building (using Worbla & Foam), pottery, knitting, historical skills (including antique knitting techniques, machine knitting, CSM, corset & hoop making), resin work, bead work, wire work and chain maille. I currently make cotton bags/totes, spell jars, essential oil perfumes, embroidery, fibre work and resin work. Themes range from nerdy to spooky to galactic…or the occasional ‘cute’ inspiration.
